Receipt obligation: Digital solutions to fight the paper overload
Since January 1st, 2020, there is an obligation in Germany to issue receipts. This means that everyone has to receive a receipt for their purchase, whether it is at the bakery, at the newsstand or at the butcher. The goal: to prevent tax fraud. But what does that result in? From February 16th to 20th the EuroShop in Dusseldorf, the world's largest trade fair for retail investment needs, shows digital solutions for this problem and how in general digitization is progressing in retail.
