Content owners (licensors), publishers (website operators) and advertisers sign up to a web based platform. There, they can upload and market their content or search the platform for content relevant to them and directly embed it into their website or app. glomex takes care of the entire transaction, including billing, rights management and technical realization (streaming, player etc.).

For the Content Owner as well as for the publisher, using glomex is free of charge. Moreover, after deducting only five percent in tech fees, glomex fairly shares the video ad revenue generated with publishers and content owners (T&Cs apply).
The videos on the platform are professionally produced clips from industry-leading content owners and genres like lifestyle, news or cars.
As of June 2017, more than 140.000 Videos are available on the platform. About 1000 of them are in English. This quota is expected to increase rapidly, though.
If content is displayed on a publisher’s site using the glomex player, monetization is done through glomex.

We require basic information about the publisher, his company and billing address. We also need company banking information for invoicing payment purposes. Additionally, we need a URL, audience size, the subject matter of the content, and countries in which it is published.
As part of the sign up process, the publisher is required to agree to our terms and conditions.
As of June 2017, glomex is available in English only. Further languages will be rolled out successively.

Publishers receive a share in the video ad revenues generated by their website. There are no additional costs involved, either monthly fees or setup costs. Using glomex is free of charge.
The amount of earnings depends solely on the number of video views that a video generates. Roughly speaking, content owners, publishers and glomex receive about a third of the revenue created - calculated from a rev share base of 95 percent of the actual revenue generated. Five percent are the technical infrastructure costs. Example: A website generates one million views per month. With that amount, the publisher’s revenue share is 25 percent. We realistically estimate an average CPM of 20 Euros. That makes 20.000 Euros in revenue. Minus five percent tech fees, this leaves a rev share base of 19.000 Euros. So the publisher makes 4750 Euros without any effort.
Yes. Customers can perform full text searches and search for content in various categories (like Channel, Category, Language etc.).
Prior to being accepted on the platform, publishers are examined carefully. Beyond that, once the video is delivered, highly modern protective mechanisms are in place and make sure that the content owner’s licenses are upheld. Sophisticated digital rights management is, indeed, one of the glomex marketplace’s essential components.
Publishers receive the right to embed the glomex player showing the videos into their website using HTML code or through their CMS. They cannot, however, cut, copy or edit content.
glomex delivers videos using its own, award-winning infrastructure. Delivery is executed through the glomex platform, streaming to the user is done by Content Delivery Network (CDN) providers on behalf of glomex.
